Musicians for a better life is a non-profit organization engaged in implementing projects with children, teenagers and young adults in social hotspots in various countries. The aim is to build local structures and networks with musicians worldwide and to sustainably establish music as a foundation for development cooperation. The common language of music connects people of different ethnic and social backgrounds.

We celebrate 5 years MUFO !Our benefit concert 5 years Musicians for a better Life e.V. on 24.11.2023 in the Reaktorhalle was a great success!

Music workshops in Bagamoyo Tanzania

The music workshops as part of the Music Exchange Program in March in Bagamoyo at the College of Arts and Culture in Tanzania were attended by 80 young adults from all over Tanzania. 5 volunteers taught drums, jazz piano, singing, trumpet, electric bass and band coaching. The final concert on March 8th in the big Main Theater in Bagamoyo was a great success !

In March 2024 we were able to open our new music school in Mbalizi in the south of Tanzania! Here, children and young people have the opportunity to learn the trumpet, piano, drums, trombone, saxophone and electric bass!

Music Exchange Program for Tanzania

The MUSIC EXCHANGE PROGRAM is a project in which German music students are given the opportunity to work in our project locations in Tanzania, to exchange ideas and to pass on knowledge. In the same way, Tanzanian music students and musicians will be given the opportunity to come to Germany. The aim of the project is cultural exchange, multiplier training, artistic projects and the joint search for new ways of European-African exchange through the creativity of music. The project is funded by the Foundation for International Youth Exchange Bavaria.
