Violin lessons for orphans in Arusha

The first violin class in Tanzania

At the Living Water Children Center orphanage in Tanzania, Arusha, we founded Tanzania’s first violin class together with Tanzanian musician Catherine. It is important to us to offer the children there a new perspective by providing them with music lessons. The violin class is also attended by many children with albinism. They receive special support through the violin lessons. We have found an excellent project manager in Catherine, our MUSICIAN ON SITE. The children are taught twice a week by Catherine and another teacher, Caroline. The children are enthusiastic and have discovered a new zest for life through the music lessons. The children practice diligently and radiate a whole new strength and vigor. The violin group now regularly performs and provides musical accompaniment to celebratory events. Students from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich support the violin project with volunteer work.

Please support us

A small donation can make a big impact. Take a look at our projects and help us provide  a better future for children in Tanzania, Romania, Brazil and Germany. We supervise each project personally and are regularly on site. You can support us with a one-time donation  or a monthly standing order. The donations go directly into the projects, covering the costs for the lessons and the materials required. Help us open up new horizons for children, teenagers, and young adults.
